Tulane Club of Kansas City

The Tulane Club of Kansas City is an active group of local alumni who organize social, educational, and cultural activities for Tulane alumni in the KC area. The club is a constituent member of the Tulane Alumni Association (TAA). Founded in 1898, TAA provides a forum for meaningful involvement and interaction among the university’s alumni, students, and university leaders.

With more than 350 local Tulane alumni, the club has something for all alums in the area. Our club is very active — our 2002 crawfish boil drew almost 200 alums & friends!! In recent years our events have included 2nd Wed. monthly luncheons with an alumni/student speaker, crawfish boils, an art event with Newcomb grad Lynda Benglis, speakers from Tulane (President Scott Cowen & the Dean of the School of Architecture), and happy hours. We also support our local students at Tulane through Hometown Parties for incoming freshmen, care packages sent to freshmen, and a student skating party during the winter break. Our club is one of the only clubs to publish a quarterly newsletter highlighting local alums and students and announcing upcoming events.

We look forward to getting to know you. Activities of the club are planned and organized by local alumni with the assistance of the Tulane Office of Alumni Relations. Therefore, your ideas and your help are always welcome.
