Tulane Club of Washington DC
The Tulane Club of Washington, DC is an active group of local alumni who organize social, educational, and cultural activities for Tulane alumni in the DC area. Our members are leading professionals in numerous fields including law, medicine, public health, business, and education.
The DC Club is focused on bringing Tulane alums together for sports, culture, and fun. We field co-ed sports teams in flag football, basketball, soccer, and softball. We tour local museums such as the Newseum, Hillwood, and the Brewmasters Castle. We gather for networking nights, happy hours, crawfish boils, the annual Katrina happy hour fundraiser, to volunteer at the Capital Area Food Bank or for Casey Trees, and of course—the Mardi Gras Party.
Activities of the club are always planned and organized by local alumni leadership with the assistance of the Tulane Office of Alumni Relations. Since the reputation of the club has been to regularly offer exciting and fun events to all alums, we are continually challenging ourselves to try new things, but equally as important involve new people who have great ideas.
